EDBL 438 - Teaching English as a Second Language Description: Prepares teachers in the development and practice of research-based methods and techniques used to assist K-12 English Language Learners in acquiring academic English.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: admission to the Teacher Certification Program.

Learner Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate ability to apply appropriate methodologies and applications;
- Demonstrate ability to assist ESL students in integrating into mainstream school setting.
