Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Identify market inefficiencies that have the potential for improvement via governmental regulation.
  • Identify inefficiencies and other limitations of the regulation of markets by government.
  • Identify market inefficiencies that have the potential for improvement via the application of antitrust law.
  • Identify inefficiencies and other limitations of using antitrust laws to limit monopoly power.
