AST 465 - Indian Cinema

Description:
An examination of the history, aesthetic achievements, major directors and themes, and cultural explorations of Indian cinema. The course explores films from a variety of Indian cinematic traditions including the Bengali, Hindi, Bangladeshi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Kashmir, and Kannada film industries.
