LAJ 542 - Criminal Justice History


Description:
This course will focus on societal response to crime and disorder in the United States from the colonial period though the 20th century. Emphasis will be placed on the study of the social forces that influenced the development of the criminal law and its institutions of social control.

Prerequisites & Notes:
Prerequisite: admission to the Law and Justice MS Program or instructor permission.
