PSY 572 - International Counseling and Psychology


Description:
This course immerses students within a cultural group and examines how psychological and counseling services are provided within that society. The location for the course varies by year. Students will learn about a society’s available services, health care provision, relationship/child-rearing traditions, common prejudices, and economic values. PSY 472 and PSY 572 are layered courses; students may not receive credit for both.

Prerequisites & Notes:
Prerequisite: PSY 101.
